Seersucker is a popular fabric type among our Ghanaian customers, particularly known for its colourful designs featuring symbolic Adinkra motifs, primarily used by the Ashanti tribe. These symbols, often printed on clothing for funeral ceremonies, carry various meanings and messages, with "Adinkra" itself meaning farewell.

In French-speaking African regions, this fabric is known as Gaufré. Its distinctive feature is the embossed design added after printing, giving the fabric an extra dimension. The embossing is achieved through high-pressure machinery molds.

We also offer Brezi and Kobene varieties, traditionally used for funerals. Brezi means black, and Kobene means red.
